Highlighting the importance of preventing the ancient culture, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that an Indian Institute of Heritage and Culture will be established under the ministry of culture. "5 archaeological sites will be set up with museums on-site in Rakhi Gadi in Haryana, Hastinapur in UP, Dholavira in Gujarat, Shivsagar in Assam & Adichanallur in Tamil Nadu. A tribal museum will be set up in Ranchi," she said.
