Bitcoin price surges past $59,000 as Altcoins await rally

Long-term holders were benefitted hugely due to a spike in the price of Bitcoin that took it past $59,000 after facing rejection at $56,000 several times in the past few weeks. Ethereum prices also surged by 5% during this period. Bitcoin was trading at $59,694, hitting a six-month high, whereas Ether was trading at $3,827. Altcoin investors still wait for the Bull run as the global cryptocurrency market cap hit $2.43 trillion.
