Ashok Leyland denied declaring 5 Non-Working days at Chennai Plant

India's auto sector faces a slowdown. Ashok Leyland declared 5 non-working days at its Chennai plant from Friday. This move is due to the sluggishness & contraction in the commercial vehicle market. 5 days of non-working will impact nearly 5000 workers, including 3000 contractual personnel. But, when asked Ashok Leyland, they denied it & said there is no official statement from the company about the production shutdown.
