Apple begins sale of locally assembled iPhone XR phones in India

Apple has started selling its popular iPhone XR phones assembled in India and it looks to expand its share in the world's 2nd largest smartphone market where it struggled against cheaper products from rivals. The phones are getting assembled at Foxconn's India factory and iPhone XR boxes with an 'Assembled in India' tag were seen in many electronic product retailers including Croma at Rs 49,900 for 64 GB version.
