Apple has surpassed Samsung for the first time in 2 years on quarterly smartphone shipments as per the figures form several industry analysts. Apple saw shipments rise to 72.9 million units in the 4th quarter of 2019, soaring above 70 million Galaxy phones sold by Samsung. Counterpoint research says because of iPhone 11 popularity and improvement in the upgrade cycle from iPhone 6s, 7 users; the iPhone maker knocked Samsung.
