Antenna firm Kymeta bags funding worth $78 Million from Bill Gates

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has invested a whopping $78 million (roughly Rs. 578 crores) in antenna firm Kymeta. Washington-based Kymeta, which sells pizza box-sized antennas for installation on cars, trains and boats, bagged $85.2 million in the funding round led by Gates. The firm is planning to launch a monthly subscription service for satellite-based internet to government customers by the year-end.
