Anil Ambani steps down as director of Reliance communications

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani, Chairman of the Reliance Communications, has resigned as the director of the company. According to a release issued by the company, Chhaya Virani, Ryna Karani, Manjari Kacker and Suresh Rangachar have submitted their resignations. The company, which is under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), has put up the appointment of D Vishwanath as executive director, for committee of creditors' approval.
