Amazon loses $10 billion cloud contract deal with pentagon

The Pentagon said on Tuesday that it is terminating the previously granted to Microsoft Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) contract. Instead, it will seek fresh solicitations from Amazon and Microsoft for a revised Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) contract. Amazon filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of Federal Grounds, appealing the judgement on the basis of biassed political claims.
