Amazon India to open 10 more warehouses to take total count beyond 60

Amazon's India unit has announced that it will be opening 10 new warehouses in the country and begin offering auto insurance in an attempt to increase its presence in the Indian market. With this, the US-based firm will have more than 60 warehouses or fulfilment centres across 15 Indian states with an area equivalent to more than 100 football fields. The new warehouses will come up in 10 Indian cities.
