Air India would continue to fly, dismisses rumours about its shutdown

Air India chief Ashwani Lohani said rumours of the disinvestment-bound airline's shutdown or closing operations are all baseless. He said Air India would continue to fly and also expand; there should be no cause for concern to travellers. He added Air India is still the biggest airline of India. Last month, Lohani wrote a letter to the ministry stating that the overall financial situation is grossly untenable.
