Air India raised Rs 7,000 cr on BSE bond platform

Air India Assets Holding (AIAHL) has raised Rs 7,000 crore on the BSE bond platform. Air India has a loan book of Rs 58,000 crore. According to the agency reports, Air India reportedly posted a net loss of about Rs 8,400 crore in the 2018-19 financial year due to higher operating costs and foreign exchange losses. The BSE has always been a market leader and AIAHL decided to accept the entire issue of Rs 6,000 crore.
