Ratan Tata is reputed for being compassionate and treating his staff like members of his family. As a result, during the second wave of Covid-19, Tata Steel expanded social security programs to the employees' family members. They declared that the monthly compensation for all workers who perished as a result of COVID-19 will be given to their families. Tata Steel was applauded on Twitter for setting a good example.
