ATM frauds: Maharashtra tops with 233 cases while Delhi came 2nd with 179 cases reported

TOI's data showed that 179 cases of ATM frauds were reported in Delhi in 2018-19, the 2nd highest in the country. While Maharashtra saw more cases than Delhi. Delhi lost about Rs 2.9 crore to ATM frauds. Maharashtra &TN lost more money than Delhi at Rs 4.81 crore & Rs 3.63 crore. ATM fraud cases increased in the nation, but Assam, Arunachal Pradesh &Tripura were the only 3 states that didn't report any incident.
