Zero emissions by 2026, India pledges to accelerate transition to Electric Vehicles

At the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), India, the 4th largest auto market in the world, has committed to accelerating the transition to zero-emission vehicles in its markets along with Rwanda, Kenya. Besides, 30 countries, including Canada, the UK, and Mexico, and 6 major automakers pledged to work together to make zero-emission vehicles the new normal by making them sustainable in all regions by 2030 or sooner.
