Volkswagen CEO and Chairman charged over diesel emission scandal in Germany

Herbert Diess and Hans Dieter Potsch, the CEO and the Chairman of Volkswagen have been charged by the German prosecutors about market manipulation and connection with the company's diesel emission scandal. The prosecutors said that the two executives have failed to disclose the huge financial risks of the diesel emission scandal to their shareholders in time. Former VW CEO Martin Winterkorn has also been charged.
