Volkswagen's Porsche fined 535 million Euros over diesel scandal

German prosecutors imposed a fine of 535 million euros against Porsche for negligence in quality control. This levy against Porsche is the latest in a string of fines against VW over its years-long 'diesel-gate' scandal. VW admitted in 2015 to manipulating 11 million vehicles to appear less polluting in lab tests than they were in real driving conditions. The total costs of dieselgate have mounted to 30 billion euros.
