Volkswagen enters car-sharing market with launch of WeShare in Germany

With WeShare, the car manufacturing giant Volkswagen has entered the car-sharing sector. It has launched 1,500 e-Golf vehicles in Berlin today and has brought 100% electric fleet. After this, the brand will come with 500 additional e-up! vehicles at the beginning of the next year. One can access it via an app. WeShare's expansion, initially to Prague, together with Skoda, and then to Hamburg, is outlined for 2020.
