The US FAA reportedly failed to review key safety assessments of the plane's flight-control system that was later implicated in 2 fatal crashes. The US regulator as part of an internal review has preliminarily conducted that FAA officials largely deferred to Boeing's assessments of the accident-ridden during the certification process.
