Uber joins hands with Sun Mobility to offer Electric Three-wheelers

Ride-hailing company Uber Technologies Inc has joined hands with Bengaluru based startup Sun Mobility to offer the Indian commuter electric auto-rickshaws to push the use of cleaner fuels in the country. The Indian government is planning to order Uber and Ola to convert 40% of its fleet of cars to electric by 2026. However, Uber is yet to announce the number of electric rickshaws that they are planning to deploy.
