TVS Motor Company has launched its Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 which is India's first ethanol-based motorcycle, with a starting price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The special-edition Apache is powered by Twin-Spray-Twin-Port EFI technology. The motorcycle also has a double cradle split synchro stiff frame. The claimed top speed of TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 is around 129 kmph. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
