Tesla headquarters to move from Texas to California, announces Elon Musk

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that the headquarters of the electric vehicle manufacturer will move from Palo Alto, California to Austin, Texas. Musk made the announcement at the 2021 Tesla, Incorporation annual meeting of stockholders. The firm aims to increase production at its plant in Fremont, California, by nearly 50 percent. "Just to be clear, though, we will be continuing to expand our activities in California," said Musk.
