Royal Enfield wants to cement its position as a leader in mid-size motorcycle segment globally. To make it a global brand, parent company Eicher Motors is expanding dealership and assembly footprint mainly focusing on South East Asia & Latin America. Its first outside India assembly plant in Thailand will be operational in next 6 months. Royal Enfield will set up another assembly facility for Latin American market.
