Porsche abandons diesel engines, blaming Volkswagen 'Dieselgate'

Porsche has announced that it would become the first German car maker to abandon the diesel engine citing Volkswagen's emission cheating 'Dieselgate' scandal. Porsche CEO Oliver Blume said that they would concentrate on powerful petrol, hybrid and purely electric vehicles from now on. He said this step was a result of the 3-years olf 'dieselgate' scandal of parent company VW and has caused lot of trouble for Porsche.
