More than 6 lakh cars of Maruti Suzuki transported through Indian Railways in 6 years

Automobile maker Maruti Suzuki said it has transported more than 6 lakh cars through the Indian Railways in the past six years. With this, the carmaker helped reduce 3,000 Megatons(MT) of CO2 emissions, with a CAGR of over 18 percent. Railway provides an easier and cheaper way of transport, helps reduce pollution, enables bulk transportation and reduces traffic congestion. The BCACBM rakes can accommodate 318 cars.
