Maharashtra government may offer Tesla to set up shop in state

The Maharashtra government is planning to invite Electric carmaker Tesla Incorporation to set up operations in the state. Aditya Thackeray, Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Environment, Government of Maharashtra recently attended a meeting with the Tesla team. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had said earlier this year that the electric carmaker will start the process of offering Tesla cars in India in January 2021.
