While some of the foreign automobile firms expressed their desire to enter the Indian space, many have exited from the Indian automotive sector or partially closed their shops in the country. In the last 4 years, Kia Motors, MG Motors, and PSA Peugeot Citroen have shown their plans to enter the space, but manufacturers like AMW, Ssangyong Motor Company, Eicher Polaris, Premier, MAN, & General Motors opted for the exit door.
