India planning to set up EV chargers at all fuel stations

In a bid to boost the electric mobility in India, the government is mulling to set up EV chargers at 69,000 fuel stations across the country. The centre plans to install at least one electric vehicle charging kiosk each at roughly 69,000 petrol pumps. Moving a step ahead, the government may make it compulsory for all state refiners' company-owned, company-operated (COCO) petrol pumps to install EV charging kiosks.
