Hamburg to order diesel ban

Hamburg is the first German city, going to ban some diesel vehicles, in order to improve the air quality. Both diesel-powered trucks and cars, if fail to meet the Euro 6 emission standard will be banned from any majorly polluted road. For ambulances, rubbish trucks, delivery vehicles and local residents will be exempted. The ban had to be implemented, as govt couldn’t find any other solution to improve air quality.
