Govt extends FAME-II scheme till March 2024

The Union government has announced the extension of the second phase of FAME India scheme by two years till March 31, 2024. The FAME India Scheme is an incentive scheme for the promotion of electric and hybrid vehicles in the country. Ultimate objective of the scheme is to promote electric mobility and it gives financial incentives for enhancing electric vehicle production and creation of electric transportation infrastructure.
