Ferrari planning to build electric supercar

Ferrari will build a battery-electric supercar to challenge rivals, Tesla. CEO Sergio Marchionne, who is also the head of Fiat Chrysler, has confirmed the Italian brand would launch a Ferrari SUV too. Any specifics on the upcoming electric Ferrari are yet to be known, but the company may release it before Tesla launches its latest Roadster in 2020. Marchionne also revealed Ferrari’s future includes hybrid models.
