Fast tags regulation relaxed by the government due to shortage of the tags

All the users got a 30-day extension to equip themselves with FASTags. This is because the government decided to not enforce the new rule mandatory FASTags for another month as there was a shortage of tags availability in the market. The Road Transport and Highways ministry issued a circular which allowed the NHAI to do the needful. With the introduction of fast tags 25% of the lanes will be transformed as a hybrid.
