By 2022, Germany will have passed laws allowing autonomous vehicles to operate on public roads. The Bundestag, Germany's lower house of parliament, passed the law last week, with a focus on vehicles with Level 4 autonomy, meaning the computer does all of the driving, in some settings or situations. But the law still has to be passed through the Bundesrat, or upper body of parliament.
