Delhi switches to BS-VI fuel, quietly

Unknown to the motorists, Delhi has quietly shifted to Bharat Stage-VI (BS-VI) fuels, even before the official date of launch in the capital, making it the first city in the country to run on BS-VI, 2 years before the deadline. Delhi’s air pollution has created a public outcry, oil minister had ordered the fuel retailers to supply BS-VI in Delhi. BS-VI fuels will available across the country from 1st April 2020.
