Bosch to cut thousands of jobs in India amid slowdown in automobile sector

Bosch Ltd., the Indian unit of the world’s largest auto-parts supplier is mulling over cutting thousands of jobs as India is facing one of its worst auto sales slowdowns in the decade. As per the reports, the company will cut almost 2000 jobs over the period of the next four years in India. "About 10% of 3,700 white-collar jobs and a slightly higher percentage of blue-collar jobs will be cut", India MD Soumitra Bhattacharya said.
