Boeing's 737 Max Software update is complete but still needs FAA Certification

Boeing said that its 737 Max planes had completed the software update, that's meant to correct the software flaws which led to the Lion Air & Ethiopian Airlines crashes. The update was supposed to come out in April, but Boeing needed extra time to guarantee that it had identified & appropriately addressed the problems that led to the crashes. However, it stills needs to undergo FAA testing in order to receive certification.
