As per the new plans, if a person is planning to buy an electric vehicle they will be offered with several benefits as India is trying hard to bring in the culture of EVs. A maximum rebate of Rs 50,000 is given to the citizens buying EVs and the subsidy will be based upon the vehicle model and the corresponding size of its battery. Also, the interest rates on loans for such EVs are being reduced.
