640 electric vehicles to be bought by the Karnataka Government

As told by officials, the Karnataka Government will buy approximately 640 electric vehicles under the scheme of the Central Government i.e. FAME India subsidized scheme. These 640 vehicles incorporate 40 buses, 100 cars, and 500 three-wheelers. Also, it has been notified that the subsidy of 60% will be award by the Department for the construction of the charging departments for these electric vehicles in Bengaluru.
