Uber's new safety function will allow users to talk directly to Uber's in-house security team and is accessible in the safety tool kit in addition to the in-app SOS button that enables riders to communicate in an emergency with law enforcement officials. Support for callers will start in English and Hindi. Problems such as misconduct, driver disputes, or break-downs during the continuing journey can be addressed.
