Vishal Kudawla, popularly known as Vishnu Vishal, was born on July 17, 1984, in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. After a short cricket career, He acted and produced Tamil movies and became a famous Indian actor. Early life and Family
Vishnu was born Vishal Kudawla, the son of a high-ranking Tamil Nadu police officer. He completed his secondary education at Tiruchirappalli's Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School. After earning his MBA in marketing from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, he went on to play cricket in the TNCA league. However, a leg injury ended his cricket career. The actor noticed that while he was bedridden, he began watching movies and interested in pursuing an acting career. Vishnu's interest in the industry was influenced by his father's uncle, an actor in many small films. He joined the film industry under the name Vishnu, which he later changed to his birth name.

Vishnu spent months preparing for his appearance in Suseenthiran's directorial debut Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu after being offered by Anand Chakravarthy. He had to tan his body by sitting in the sun for hours to get dark and look like a player, and then he had to practice for kabaddi matches under a coach for five hours a day for three months.
The film received mostly positive reviews, and Vishnu was nominated for Best Debut Actor at the Vijay Awards. Personal Life
Vishnu Vishal married Rajini Natraj, the actress K. Natraj's daughter. They met in college and were in a relationship for four years before marrying. On December 2, 2010, their wedding took place at Chennai's Hotel Asiana, and their son was born in 2017. The couple split in November 2018 for unknown reasons.
Vishnu is set to engaged badminton player Jwala Gutta on September 7, 2020. He revealed their wedding date on Twitter as of April 22, 2021.
