50 Most Popular Women in the World
Shortpedia
Content TeamThe trend of ranking the most popular women on the site began with COED magazine's list of "The 50 Most Popular Women on the Web." This list was compiled based on the most common celeb searches on the internet. The title of "Queen of the Internet" was hotly contested across social media outlets, with many satisfied with the findings and others arguing with celeb rankings.
Besides, ranking Justin Bieber among the women on this list prompted debate. The debate emerged when Justin was ranked as the seventh most famous Girl in the world by most websites worldwide. While he is the most famous among teen girls, ranking him among women was not well received by the 'Beliebers.'
Nonetheless, the internet and social media sites have grown in popularity over the last decade. In response to this development, we wanted to compile a list of the 50 most influential women on the internet over the last decade.
