In a major blow to West Indies, Andre Russell has been ruled out of the 2019 Cricket World Cup with an injury. After an exceptional IPL season, Russell played only 4 matches for West Indies in the World Cup. He will be replaced by Sunil Ambris and join the side against India at Old Trafford, on Thursday 27 June. West Indies won only 1 game out of 6 in the World Cup so far and will fight against India to keep semies hope alive.
