Withdrawing 86% of currency in one go, affected badly: Ex-Chief Economic Advisor

This is for the time that the former chief economic advisor, Arvind Subramanian spoke about the decision of demonetization, 5 months after leaving the Finance Ministry. He said that the decision taken by the Modi-government was shocking and extreme. According to him, withdrawing the 86% of the currency in use in one go has affected the Indian economy badly. From 8%, economic growth slipped to 6.8%, Arvind said.
