Weam Al Dakheel creates history by becoming first woman news anchor in Saudi

Weam Al Dakheel has created history and has become the first female news anchor delivering evening news bulletins on TV in Saudi. She presented the evening news bulletins along with anchor Omar Al Nashwan on the state-owned Saudi TV Channel 1. Earlier, Jumanad AlShami became the first Saudi female to present morning newscasts in 2016. This has come to relax strict restrictions on women in the country.
