VVIP chopper scam: Middleman Michel sent to 5 day CBI custody

A day after extradition by the UAE in connection with Rs 3,600-crore AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam case, the alleged middleman Christian Michel James has been sent to five-day CBI custody by Delhi court. His extradition came 6 years after his name surface in the purchase of VVIP helicopters in 2012. The extradition operation code-named ‘Unicorn’ was conducted under the ‘guidance’ of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
