Vijay Shankar suffers injury scare in training

After Shikhar Dhawan, Team India could have been hit by another injury blow ahead of their Afghanistan WC match. All-rounder Vijay Shankar had an injury scare during the practice session on Wednesday after he was hit on the toe by a yorker from Jasprit Bumrah. However, according to the latest reports, the all-rounder didn’t suffer a serious injury as the pain reduced in the evening after a quick round of treatment.
