US to send troops to Saudi Arabia

US are preparing to send troops to Saudi Arabia following the attacks against the country's oil infrastructure after Saudi Arabia and UAE requested assistance. The deployment would be defensive but total troop numbers haven’t yet been decided. Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels have said they were behind the recent attacks against two oil facilities last week. But US and Saudi Arabia have both alleged Iran itself.
