UP's Vidisha Baliyan becomes first Indian to be crowned Miss Deaf World 2019

In a historic moment for the nation, a 21-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, Vidisha Baliyan, has become the first Indian to be crowned Miss Deaf World 2019. The beauty pageant was held in Mbombela, South Africa where she was crowned the prestigious title on July 22. Vidisha, who is a modeling student at the moment, was chosen among 11 finalists from 16 participating countries in the final round.
