Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists including PhD scholar gunned down in J&K

In an encounter that broke out in the early hours of Thursday at Shartgund Bala village in Handwara following specific inputs of militants presence, two Hizbul Mujahideen militants, including a PhD scholar of Aligarh Muslim University Manan Bashir Wani, were gunned down by security forces in a joint operation launched by the Army 30 RR and the Special Operation Group. Mehbooba Mufti called Wani's death a loss.
