Teaching Gender Equality Boosts Domestic Violence, claims Brazil's Minister

Women's Minister of Brazil, Damares Alves says teaching boys & girls they are equal in every way leads to domestic violence. SHe adds- boys need to understand that girls are equal in terms of rights & opportunities, but way different physically as they are women & need to be loved, respected as women. Boys might think as girls are equal, they can handle getting hit. Alves was presenting a campaign to combat domestic violence.
