Taxpayers in US get refunds twice due to error, Govt asks not to spend & refund within 30 days

In the Louisiana state of US, 66780 accounts had a double Payday on March 12 & 13th. Wonder how? Tax refund errors that occurred with a system error, made tax refunds pay once on 12th and second time on 13th. Money refunded totalled to $26 million and the government has asked everyone not to spend money, instead return the same within 30 days. The government has put on new procedures making sure that it never repeats.
